Hi there !

I just recently joined the website and book club. Due to work, I am not able to attend live very often but I love rewatching and reading the comments ! I have a few comments and burning questions !!

I am about half way through the lawsuit, wow ! it's so repetitive, and dare I say kinda boring !! I'm at the point where I skip over the SAME thing i.e. Page 126 (a) (b) It is mentioned like a 1000 times before that LOL.. I just happened to bookmark this particular one. So odd ! The lawsuit reads that they did indeed answer all of Candace's questions, yet Candace has never mentioned it. And if they did provide her with answers, pictures etc. I couldn't find it in the lawsuit. (That being said I am only half way through the over 200 pages...and somehow I'm pretty sure Candace would have mentioned something....besides the usual pictures we've already seen and the birth announcement...Yawn !

I did see copies of X posts that Candace made....and again very repetitive ! Geez... I hope the Macron lawyers charge by the word ! . They also give a few shout outs to many of my favorite comedians; Tom Segura, Tim Dillon, Theo Von, Joe Rogan and Howie Mandel.

(They start discussing Candace's case at about 8:12 until about 49:00 ) I am familiar with Viva (He is a Canadian lawyer who now lives in Florida). Viva and the other lawyer Barnes do a podcast every other week or so. (Barnes was one of Alex Jones' lawyers for the SH case.). I'm pretty sure Barnes did not watch the series. Although Barnes does say something interesting... (Time Stamp around 48:20).... Basically....The Macrons are using Candace to go after others with big platforms like; Joe Rogan, Tom Segura, Tim Dillon, Theo Von and a few others... I'm guessing they are not familiar with comedians and satire ?? (BTW...Tim Dillon is having LOADS of fun with being mentioned in the lawsuit!).

Barnes also states the reason Xavier Poussard was not accused of defamation is because the statute of limitation in France is just 3 months (See google search below). As a result, they were unable to include him when they filed their original lawsuit against the other 2 ladies; Natacha Rey and Amandine Roy. He also said John Michel Trogneux testified at the previous trial for his sister against these 2 ladies.

"In France, defamation cases have a short, three-month statute of limitations, which starts from the date of the first publication or broadcast of the defamatory statement. This strict deadline applies to both criminal and civil defamation actions and is a key aspect of the French Law on Freedom of the Press of 1881, which governs defamation cases".

Anyway, just wondering if anyone has read the lawsuit....or has anything to add. Also....do I have the correct link to access the lawsuit?? Has Candace ever addressed this about Xavier and the 3 month statute of limitation? I have so many questions !! I wish I could spend more time...but my work has been crazy! I am currently rewatching the first series, trying to finish the lawsuit, and am so looking forward to Season 2 !!!!!!
