College Vaccination Requirements

How can I get around the required vaccinations required of my child attending college… this is what they wrote to my inquiry… “you would need to submit a written request detailing your reason for exemption including your signature. Once received the medical director will determine if the request is approved.”
Has anyone been able to get approved? Or any suggestions? Thank you!!
