Candace has mentioned Freemasons in passing a few times as I have been listening to the book club. Can someone point me to some reliable resources, books, or possibly earlier discussions by Candace where this group is detailed?

The secret founding of America” Candace recommended it time ago and you will learn a lot there, to make the story short a lot of the people founding America were not Christians looking for freedom of religion. A lot of them were sent to put a plan in action.

George Washington was a Freemason, as were several of the other Founding Fathers. Ron Paul and Rand Paul are Freemasons. Freemasonry accepts Christians but does not require a Mason to be a Christian. The Catholic Church forbids its members from being Masons (so they have the Knight of Columbus.) I've heard that at this point the Masons are pretty much dominated by Jews. Bob Dole was a Mason. I don't believe they are inherently evil. But they are secretive, so who knows.

9 of the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence are known to have been Freemasons. 17 of the flag officers of the US Army during the American Revolution are known to have been Freemasons. That includes the Supreme Commander General Washington. 14 of the 55 delegates to the Constitutional Convention of 1787 were Freemasons.
