Kirk Investigation...Things That Make You Go Hmmm ( or don't make sense)
-
Venue:
- Why excavate an active crime scene within following days?
- What security measures did UVU implement?
- Was there a person behind the strange bush near the teacher only access area?
- Why did the camera pan right to continue following him during his "escape"?
Unusual Suspects:
*How did they realize Decoy Boy wasn't involved?
*Identity of the 2nd person of interest and why?
*Why did they not immediately look in directions shots were supposedly fired or explore rooftops?Gun:
- Why is TR not seen exiting the building with a gun?
- What kind of damage does this type of assault weapon due upon contact?
*Where is the discharged bullet? Was it recovered or not?
Video Footage:
*Where is the footage of TR getting onto the building?
*Is there any other footage of individuals in upper areas?
*Where is the footage of TR's vehicle? Was there no arrest footage?
*There was a camera directly behind, Cameras directly in front...can they not release multiple angles or at least describe what was observed from other angles. Can they not release an official direct for the bullet path?Messages:
*Why were only Discord messages focused on. Were there not phone call logs and messages? Why did the court record pinpointing the messages mirror the Utah police press release speaking on the messages word for word even though we know due to ellipses there was left out content?
*Why are two teens engaging in lengthy texts when they could have avoided evidence dropping by calling each other? No one likes typing that much and if I'm shocked..I'm calling right away.
*Official court records usually have date and time stamps for messages. Also indicates the speaker (otherwise it's hearsay)Alibis:
*How did Lance get ruled out? Where did Tyler go that evening? Any cell tower tracing?
*Is it possible to live with a significant other without sharing your plot? One might ask, why are you engraving bullets?
*Why has no one been interviewed? Only the family with the kids who saw the shooting...
*Why leave the weapon in the 'woods' instead of taking to the car? Where was the car in conjunction with this place in the woods?I have heard many people say the FBI and active investigators don't owe the public an explanation since the case is active. Well, the FBI decided to lead a state case for whatever reason, and they have a horrible reputation due to their COINTELPRO activities, so some transparency may help a traumatized public to heal and make sense of the craziness.
What did I forget/miss?

Why were only Discord messages focused on.
That's a very good question. Except, I don't believe the Romeo and Julio exchange was on Discord. The criminal complaint characterizes them as "text messages". They certainly weren't released to aid in the identification or apprehension of the suspect. Making them public could arguably compromise a prosecution by biasing the jury pool.
It seems like the primary objective was to sell a specific narrative to the public.
What I want to know is who actually "found" those messages. There's no explanation in the criminal complaint of how they came into the possession of law enforcement.
A similar argument could be made regarding the etchings on the bullet casings. Why release that information before a trial? It's pretty clear that a lot of video content has not been made public. For example video of the roof prior to the shooting.
And, since the crime was supposedly committed entirely within the state of Utah and doesn't involve any federal property or personnel, why has the FBI taken the lead in the investigation?
The FBI has a very long history of participating in coverups. TWA-800 is a good example.
