Honestly God will forgive you. There is no perfect Catholic or perfect Christian. The thing that matters is you found your way back to God. I was heavily swayed and influenced by witchcraft at one point. I didn’t really understand or think it was witchcraft I didn’t know what I was doing but when I found out God isn’t into crystals and all of that I stopped immediately. I also worry but God will forgive the worst of sinners if you ask

Katelyn, your story is beautiful, welcome home! Knock and the door will be opened: seek ( first the Kingdom of God) and you shall find Truth. Consecrate yourself to the Blessed Mother and she will show you the way to Jesus. Oh and fear not, God is your loving father and remember all Heaven rejoices more over one repentant sinner then a 100 righteous . We are all sinners. God bless.

Thank you for asking this question. I have been a Protestant all my life and have been considering converting, but I am heavily tattooed and live in the deep south so I have been hesitant to physically go to mass for fear of judgement.
I already knew this group is wonderful because they love Candace, but your overwhelmingly kind responses to this question truly touched me. I am feeling more confident and valid about myself. God bless all of you.

Welcome back Katelyn! BTW… the Catholic community will never think of you different. Your the lost sheep who has been found, what wonderful thing to celebrate. Have you found a bible yet? My advice to you would be sure to make it a Catholic Bible as other religions evolved. Some books were taken out. The Catholic Bible is the true Bible! Heck, we wouldn’t even have a Bible if it wasn’t for the catholic church.!

Relax. Paul persecuted christians but God used him. Saul of Tarsus—was a fervent Pharisee who brutally persecuted the early Christian church. He authorized executions, imprisoned men and women, and aimed to destroy the movement, viewing it as a dangerous, heretical Jewish sect. He famously consented to the stoning of Stephen. You can be pure evil, but the truth of Jesus can convert you. The church is Jesus not people. People attend church.
